Abstract:
CAPOX BHT named as 2, 6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol, produced by the raw materials of p-cresol and isobutene, under the action of catalyst.
CAPOX BHT is mainly used as an antioxidant in food processing.
Applications and Performance:
CAPOX BHT is the antioxidant stabilizer of good effect, low cost, good quality and non-polluted.
It is also widely used in common industry products as an antioxidant, just like plastic, elastomer, adhesive, sealants and even gasoline, jet fuels, turbine oils, hydraulic oils, gear oils and automatic transmission fluids and etc.
Packing:
The regular packing of this product is fiber drum, 25kg/drum.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. This product has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container at room temperature.
If this product is kept beyond the shelf life recommend on the product label, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
