Abstract:
It is versatile monoalkoxy fatty acid aluminate that is compatible to semi-polar and nonpolar material like PP, PE. It is a granule form and very easy for transportation, dosing and handling.
Applications and Performance:
ACA-KTTT is widely used a coupling agent in composite materials to improve thermal stability, surface smoothness and loading level of filler (calcium carbonate, talc, kaolin, etc) to reduce the dosage of resin and lower the material cost.
ACA-KTTT is a surface treatment agent for inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate, kaolin, talcum etc, to improve hydrophobic property and to get a better dispersion, reinforcement in the polymer matrix. With the help of aluminate ACA-KTTT more filler loading, improved mechanical strength (mostly flexibility property like impact strength & elongation at break), reduced moisture absorption and low raw material cost could be achieved.
Some typical application are including:
1. Plastic composite like film, cable compounds, pipe, profile, filler & color masterbatch which contains inorganic filler;
2. Mineral filler, pigment & dye surface coating: to get a good dispersion in plastic, rubber, coatings and even in cosmetics.
Packing:
The regular packing of this product is polywoven bag and 25kg/bag.
Storage and Shelf Life:
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. This product has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container at room temperature.
If this product is kept beyond the shelf life recommend on the product label, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
